Report: Barcelona now ‘dream’ of signing ‘phenomenal’ Arsenal player this summer to solve problem position

Barcelona is hoping to sign one of the many excellent players that Arsenal currently has in its ranks.

Following Liverpool’s recent setbacks, the Gunners are still advancing towards the Premier League crown and are currently in a two-horse fight with Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta is all about keeping himself better, and he has no intention of losing any of his best players come summertime.

But it doesn’t mean teams won’t make an effort.

There will undoubtedly be interest because Arsenal has young, dynamic players like Gabi Martinelli, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka who are all performing well.

Furthermore, a Spanish newspaper claims that Barcelona, the dominant team in La Liga, is “dreaming” of signing one of the aforementioned three players.

To address their winger shortage, Barcelona would want to sign Gabriel Martinelli.
Barcelona has been linked to a deal for Luis Diaz of Liverpool, a winger who they would like to sign this summer.

Mundo Deportivo claims that the team “dreams” of signing Gabriel Martinelli, an Arsenal standout.

When Barca plans their summer transfer strategy, the Brazilian is referred to as the “forbidden dream on the list.”

Ansu Fati’s tenure at the club may be drawing to an end, while Martinelli, Liverpool’s Diaz, and Bilbao sensation Nico Williams are all discussed.

For Arsenal to even entertain a sale, a huge amount would be required.
Selling your best players isn’t exactly a smart move when you’re aiming for league titles and large awards.

Given that Gabi Martinelli is among Arsenal’s finest and brightest players, Barcelona would need to pay a hefty price to even consider making this move.

Mikel Arteta has praised Martinelli as a “phenomenal” talent, thus the Gunners have no need to even consider this one.

Ultimately, Barcelona is free to fantasise about acquiring Martinelli.

However, despite Mikel Arteta’s leadership and the current state of affairs, the young Brazilian appears to be stagnating.
