Barcelona wonderkid was suffering from a stomach issue leading up to PSG clash

FC Barcelona made history last night when they defeated PSG in the first leg of their quarterfinal UEFA Champions League match.

At Parc des Princes, the Blaugrana defeated Les Parisiens 3-2 on the road behind two goals from Raphinha and the game-winning goal from Andreas Christensen.

The majority of players raised their hands and contributed significantly that evening, however young prodigy Lamine Yamal was a little too out of control.

In fact, on Wednesday night in Paris, the 16-year-old was much below his peak and did not leave the type of impression that his supporters have become accustomed to seeing from him.

Lamine Yamal was getting well from a digestive problem.
Gerard Romero has now revealed information that may help to explain Lamine Yamal’s somewhat subdued performance against PSG last night.

The writer said that Yamal had been experiencing stomach problems prior to the crucial match at Parc des Princes versus the French champions.

The 16-year-old Barcelona sensation has now totally healed, although it was believed that he was suffering with the problem for a few days prior to the match against PSG.

That could have contributed to Yamal’s lack of spectacular performance on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.

A fantastic season of breakthrough for Lamine
Despite just being 16 years old, Lamine Yamal has had an exceptional season, going on to establish himself as a regular in Xavi’s plans.

The Barcelona wonderkid’s transfer value has actually increased by โ‚ฌ134 million (from โ‚ฌ11 million to โ‚ฌ145 million) in the previous six months, the greatest of any player under the age of 23 in that time, according to CIES Football Observatory.

Yamal might have had a bad night in Paris, but he has a great chance to lead Barcelona to victory in the rematch with PSG the following week.
